Assemblages are a 20th century art form growing out of the surrealist and dada movements that is dependent upon a 3 dimensional vessel, usually a drawer or wooden box in which I combine my paintings and discarded treasures to make visual poems that can be hung on the wall or displayed on a pedestal.
