Paintings are color field abstractions, on wood, paper, or walls created in a meditative state.  Using a predominately non-traditional material called venetian or pigmented plaster on wood or paper, I apply multiple layers to produce a 3-dimensional effect even through the surface is flat and slick.  These layers of plaster change color and overall look as light moves across it at different times of the day, thus creating a rich and intriguing image, which is difficult to capture in a photograph.
